Planning and tasks management is a very important part of the sales process, so it is very recommended to create and manage your daily tasks in Teamgate CRM. All the activities and tasks created will be displayed on your calendar and to-do list, so you will be always aware of today's agenda. Email reminders will make sure you will never forget to complete the most important tasks. As well as, you will be able to set activity goals and analyze the results of how you are targeting them.
To add more, Teamgate CRM allows creating custom activity types to support every business needs.
There are several ways of how to create the task in Teamgate.
1. Create tasks from the Leads / People / Company / Deals list.
1.1. Open the Leads / People / Company / Deals list and click on the button displaying the last action.
1.2. Click on Add Activity
1.2.1. Create tasks for several contacts: In a Leads, People or Companies list > select several contacts > click "Bulk actions and Create activities ".
1.3. Fill all the necessary fields in the pop-up window and Save the changes.
Note:It is not available to create the recurring tasks at once. You may clone the task to create the same task for the different time. To clone the task click on the three-pointer and click Save&Clone. Change the date and Save the changes.
5. How will activities be displayed between the different sections in Teamgate?
By default all the tasks created are being displayed as follow:
Tasks created in Leads list and profile - these tasks will be displayed in the profile of the lead only. When the lead will be converted, this information will appear in the company's that are associated with the lead profile.
Tasks created in People list and profile - these tasks will be displayed in the profile of the people and in the associated company's profile.
Tasks created in Company list and profile - these tasks will be displayed in the profile of the company only.
Tasks created in the Deals section - these tasks will be displayed in deal's profile and in the buyer's profile. The buyer of the deal may be either the company or the people.
Note: if you wish the task to appear in another clients profiles - click the button +Add contacts or +Add deal> type in the name or title of the contact or deal in the search bar > select the contact or deal from the drop-down menu. By performing this action the activity created will be displayed in every profile of your selection.
6. How to delegate tasks to my colleagues?
6.1. If you want to create the new task for your colleague - change the owner in the pop-up window and the task will be assigned to the user of your choice.
6.2. To assign all your tasks to another user - navigate to Organizer section > enable the list view > enable the filter and select the filtering criteria > mark all the task > click Change Owner on top of the list > select another user from the drop-down menu > click Confirm.
The user to whom the task is assigned won't be notified about the newly created task. The task will appear in the user's calendar and Agenda.
Pro tip: Set the reminder by email so that the colleague of yours wouldn't forget to complete the task assigned.
